Arjan Versteeg

Arjan Versteeg was born in Holland in 1973. He studied at the Mittenwald Violin Making School. After the exam he worked two years as a restorator for Willem Bouman in The Hague.

Later he worked 9 years for Peter Benedek in Munich. In that time he concentrated on restoring fine old instruments and tree ring analysis - dendrochronology. In 2007 he passed the master exam at the Mittenwald Violin Making School. He is member of the German Violin Maker Association, VDG.

He has worked as a dendrochronological specialist for the publication 'Antonio Stradivari' of Jost Thoene.

He contributed to the research on the Flemish harpsichord makers Ruckers.

Veronika Versteeg

Veronika Versteeg was born in Munich in 1974. She studied at the Mittenwald Violin Making School. After the exam she worked as a journeyman at the workshops of Werner Hartwig and Peter Schlarb. Here she concentrated on making new instruments.

Since 2011 Veronika and Arjan work in their own workshop in Hohenschäftlarn near Munich. In their spare free time they play chamber music. Their instruments are regulary exhibited at the Munich City Museum during the Munich Violin Days.

Wiebke van der Wall

Since 2015 Wiebke van der Wall works in our workshop. She passed the master exam in Mittenwald in 2018.
