Regular maintenance, consistent quality
As part of maintenance:
- we clean and polish your bow,
- examine its functionality in detail and
- renew hair and thumb leather if necessary.
Inserting the hair into the frog. 
The hair is tied with a hemp thread and sealed with rosin. 
A very important step is to determine the length of the hair. 
A final cut on the head wedge. 
Another scrutinizing look before the end wedge is fitted into the frog.
In cooperation with an experienced master bow maker
For your bow-hair we use the best Siberian and Mongolian quality. We also carry out common repairs to your bow – such as the renewal of head plates, mother-of-pearl sliders, screws or silver wrappings – ourselves. For particularly complicated restorations such as bending the bow, we rely on the know-how of an experienced master bowmaker, with whom we have a trusting partnership.
No interruption in your playing
So that you do not have to interrupt your playing, we will be happy to provide you with a loan bow for the time your bow is in our studio. Just talk to us about it!
